Plymouth, Pictou County : Charles Francis “Frank” Pettipas age 86 of Plymouth and formerly of Caledonia passed away on Friday January 29th ,2021 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Tracadie, Frank was a son of the late Walter and Mabel (MacKenzie) Pettipas. Frank was a longtime resident of Caledonia before moving to Plymouth. He was a member of the East River Pastoral Charge. During his working years Frank was a sawyer having worked for Hugh Erskine before working for Williams Bros Mill in Barney’s River from where he retired. Surviving are his wife of 64 years Henrietta (Penny) Fisher ,sisters Isabell Kennedy of Ontario and Hilda Dunn of New Minas also by a number of nieces and nephews .Frank was predeceased by a son Kenneth and sisters Theresa Taylor and Shirley Fraser. Cremation has taken place,a memorial service will take place on Thursday February 4th at 2 P.M. from the H.W.Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Lynn MacKenzie officiating ( BY INVITATION ONLY PLEASE) Covid regulations in place ,masks are mandatory. Burial will take place at a later in the Bethel Cemetery Caledonia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the Nova scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
