I would like to send condolences to your family and to share some memories of him.
My parents, Mary & Don Cameron used to shop at Reids Grocery when I was little (in the 60's), and I remember going there with them (and of course getting in trouble for wandering off or wanting stuff).
Later in the early 70's, I was in the Ceilidh Girls Pipe Band, and I was happy to meet Mr. Reid again as he was the bus driver for many of our band trips. He was such a kind, nice man! How he ever put up with a busload of teenage girls is a wonder!
I am sure that you have many more lovely memories and please know that he is a part of many peoples' memories in the County.
