Donald and family:
My good friend, Kenneth Macleod, informed me of Rosemary's death, and I wanted to express my condolences and offer my prayers for you all.
In the 1970's while at First Church, I so enjoyed our friendship - and even envied you, Donald! I was wifeless at the time, and Rosemary and yourself were bringing these beautiful children for Baptism!
(I have since rectified that with a wonderful Nova Scotian wife, son, daughter, and two grandsons.)
How blessed you have been to have Rosemary as your gracious and loving wife, partner, and friend.... so her passing is such a great loss. You can gratefully remember the life you have shared; No matter the number of years together, it would never be enough!
This is a testing time for our faith. Trust in the Lord, my friend! God bless.
R. (Bob) Cruickshank. Medicine Hat, AB.

To Don and family
It is with great sadness to learn of Rosemary’s passing. I remember when she came to New Glasgow she would have people stopping in the street looking at her beauty only to learn that she was just as beautiful on the inside. Don and Rosemary had the love story that never ended. She stayed so positive through it all and in conversation she never made it about herself. Her beautiful family was her life and she will forever be in their hearts. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all at this time.
