Evelyn and I are deeply saddened by Lou's recent passing which leaves a 'large Blank File' in the Pipers and Drummers and Pipe Bands of Atlantic Canada...have known Lou since the 1950's when he was a proud member of the 'Black Watch' and I was a young Piper and meeting up at the Highland Games many,many times over the years and with the Pipe bands he was always willing to lend a hand and passing on his many skills to young players.We send along heartfelt sympathy to all of you and also send a 'silent Pipers Lament Flowers of the Forrest' to his cherished memory.

Very saddened to hear of Lew's death.He certainly lived a long and good life and put smiles on many faces in his lifetime. I remember well the little canteen in Central West River, I can still taste the yummy food that your Dad cooked up.My Mom taught many of you in the little one room school in Central West River and always recalled fondly both your Mom andDad.God bless you all.
