Robert King Rector
Thorburn – Robert King Rector, 62, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 11th, 2020 at home.
Born in New Glasgow, he was the son of the late King and Vivian (Silver) Rector.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jo-ann (Cameron) Rector; sons: Bradley (Jeanette) Rector of Westville and Jeremy (Shannon) Rector of Hopewell; grandkids: Joshua, Kyle and Zachary; siblings James (Cathy) Rector of Thorburn, Teresa (Joseph) of Linacy, and Brian (Shelley) of Westville; and several nieces and nephews.
Robert spent the majority of his life working as a licensed mechanic at BIll O'Farrell's Chev Olds. In his later years he held various other positions of employment.
In his spare time Robert enjoyed exploring the countryside on his motorcycle with his wife and could be found spending time with the grandkids four wheeling.
Cremation to take place.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the visitation previously set for Sunday December 27, 2020 from 6-8pm is cancelled.
Donations can be made in Robert’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
