Lawrence “Douglas” Campbell age 71 of Valley View Villa ,Riverton and formerly of Frasers Mountain passed away on Thursday ,October 15th ,2020 in the Aberdeen Hospital ,New Glasgow. Born in Barney’s River he was a son of the late John and Marion(Fraser) Campbell. Doug most recently worked for the Chignecto -Central Regional School Board from where he retired . surviving are a son Todd and family of Sault Ste. Marie ,Ont , a sister Margaret (Jeff) Avent of Grand Valley ,Ont. brothers ; Colin (Carol) Campbell of Caribou River and Paul Campbell. Doug is also survived by a special aunt Betty White of Truro. He was predeceased by brothers Dan and Simon. There will be no visitation or service by request. Donations in his memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
