Marilyn Elaine Mailman age 74 of Denver Guysborough County passed away on September 21, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late Winton and Georgina (MacDonald) Hemlow.
Marilyn was a resident of Indian Harbour and later moved to Denver where she resided for the past 40 years. She was a former employee of the Port Bickerton Fish Plant and worked at various places as a waitress.
She is survived by her husband Stanley, Denver; son Clarence (Wanda), Denver; brothers Stan (Debbie) Hemlow, Halifax; Ralph (Beverly) Hemlow, Pinevale, sister Carolyn (Bruce) Bingley, Port Bickerton.
She was predeceased by a daughter Elaine.
A private family visitation will be held in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, September 26, 2020 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Derek Elsworth officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Aspen. Donations in her memory may be made to the Evergreen Cemetery, Aspen or the St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Program.
