Alexander “Sandy” MacLean age 73 of Linacy, Pictou County passed away on September 9, 2020 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late James and Hazel (Irving) MacLean.
Sandy was a resident of Linacy and was employed with Verhagen Construction as a dozer operator for many years. He enjoyed fishing and time spent outdoors.
He is survived by his partner Patsy Lloyd, Linacy; sons Scott Stewart, Scotsburn; Michael (Tracey) Stewart, New Glasgow; 4 grandchildren; brother Paul MacLean, Sutherland’s River.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life held on Saturday, September 19, at the home of his son Scott Stewart 303 Campbell Hill Road, Scotsburn with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
