Lloyd Alexander Cornett, 67 of Stellarton, passed away peacefully September 5, 2020 at home surrounded by his wife and family.
Lloyd was a son of the late Frank and Lena (Anderson) Cornett.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Fleming) Cornett; his four daughters, Brandy Cornett (Chris), Belinda Dawson (Derek), Angela Hape, Amy Miller (Brad).
his grandchildren: Tristan, Devon, Zack, Deanna, brothers: Leonard Cornett (Shelley), John Cornett, sisters: Georgina Silver, Beatrice Cornett, Irma Slager, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers: Vernon Anderson, Ronald Cornett, Peter Cornett, Frank Cornett, Bruce Cornett, half-brothers: Arthur Cornett, John Cornett, sisters: Sylvia Silver, Shirley Cornett.
Cancer won the battle, but he went out swinging.
Cremation will take place.
In keeping with the wishes of the family, Lloyd’s life will be celebrated privately.
Donations in memory of Lloyd can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Palliative Care Society.
