Phoebe June Sample Dec. 26, 1928- July 21, 2020 Phoebe June Sample age 91 of Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro formerly of New Glasgow passed away on July 21, 2020 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Duncan and Georgina (Hartery) Buell and daughter-in-law to the late Robert and Katherine Mary (MacEachern) Sample. Surviving family members are pam (Sid Hales), New Glasgow; Floyd (Sharon), North River; Henry (Leanne), Enfield; Charlie (Barb), Harbour Grace, NL; son-in-law Wayne Fraser, Lower Sackville; sisters-in-law Jean Buell, Ontario; Elsie Sample, Stellarton; Caroline Dort (Sample), Westville; brothers-in-law John Somers, Cardigan, PEI;, Larry Thompson, Ontario;; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Phoebe is also survived by extended family Len and Bea Walser, Teddy and Edward Fairhurst, New Glasgow. Phoebe was predeceased by her husband Frank and daughter Margie, brothers Laurie, Gerald, Alex, and Harold; sister Georgina; brothers-in-law Butch James Sample, Roy (the late Rita) Sample, Robert (the Late Annie) Sample, Bill (the late Peggy) Sample; sisters-in-law Elizabeth (the late Lawrence) Miller, Penny (Sample)Somers, and Fern (Sample) Thompson. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A family graveside service will be held in the Lorne Street Cemetery.
