Hoare, Joseph Clarence Bernard, of Stellarton passed away July 3, 2020 at home.
Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Bernard and Marion Margaret(Shreenan)Hoare.
Joe enjoyed drawing cars, watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Coronation Street. He lived to tell stories and jokes, spend time with his family, especially Friday nights in brother Bernie’s garage. During his working years, he was manager of the Met, Zellers, Bi Way and a courier driver for MTW and Alta Max.
He is survived by his son, Jonathan Joseph Frank Hoare, a grandson River Lane Dewar, a brother Bernard, a niece Margaret(Adam)MacBeth, a nephew Alex , great-niece Mia MacBeth, cousins, David Morrison, Marion and George Charlton and Kay Heighton.
He was predeceased by his parents Bernard and Marion Hoare, a nephew Bernie ”Boo” Hoare Jr. and a sister-in -law Susan Hoare.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Cemetery with Father Barrett Clare-Johnson presiding.
