Alice Mae (nee Toney) Francis

Alice Mae Francis passed away peacefully in the Aberdeen Hospital, April 17, 2020.
Alice was the daughter of the late Bridget & Joseph Toney.
Alice’s main focus in life was her family. She loved cooking Sunday meals and being surrounded with her children and grandchildren. She was happiest when spending her summers at her camp, with her late husband Kenneth.
Alice was predeceased by her husband Kenneth, a granddaughter Shelley. sisters; Loretta, Marguerite, Susie, Virginia a brother, Joseph Toney Jr.
She is survived by her children; Kenny Joe (Sylvia), Louis (Rachel), Kelly (Andrew), Billy (Jordan), Tina, Troy, chosen son John, daughter- in- law Stephanie, 21 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren, many nieces & nephews, god children, sisters; Barbara and Mary, sisters- in- law; Sarah & Marg, all of Pictou Landing.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Pictou Landing First Nation on a day and time to be announced due to the Covid-19 restrictions.
Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
