New Glasgow : Mary Roy Miller age 98 of Glen Haven Manor and formerly of North Street ,New Glasgow passed away peacefully on Friday ,March 13th 2020 in Glen Haven Manor. Born in Stellarton she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret (Napier) Roy. Mary lived in New Glasgow since 1946. During her working career she was employed with Joe Hudry Electric , MacLean ,Johnson and Williams Wholesalers and with her son Brian at Brian’s Hair Salon. She was a member of Sharon St. John United Church. Surviving are daughters Ann (Doug) McKay of New Glasgow , Lynn Simpson of Dartmouth , 11 grandchildren ,a number of great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews . Brothers John Roy of Stellarton and David Roy of B.C. Mary was predeceased by her husband Murray Miller , son Brian , daughters Molly Fraser and Maureen Van de Valk , son-in -law Robert Simpson and sister-in – law Noreen Roy . A celebration of life will be held at a day and time to be announced . Burial will take place in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date.
