Karen & Family;
Belated sympathy to you all on Lincoln's passing.I have many fond memories of his activity in the aquaculture sector at the Dept. of Fisheries during my days as Minister of Fisheries in the mid-1970's. Over the years we would bump into each other in the County at rinks ,golf course etc. & often discuss the future of aquaculture in our province. He was most certainly among the government officials a leading light in his field....an area of even greater importance now & in the future as we supply protein for the World. A life well spent.

Karen, Kit, Sarah and family:
I was saddened to read of Lincoln’s passing. In my years working with Linc at the Fisheries School in Pictou, I learned how kind and compassionate a person he was. He always made time to chat with the old fishermen when they came in to spin a yarn. Even when that meant setting aside an important piece of writing or research for 10 or 15 minutes to be present to them and their fish tails. He was also very kind to my sons. When they stopped in to my work, he would always take a minute to come into my office and acknowledge the boys. Those things mattered greatly. Linc was very supportive when I decided to leave my job and go back to university. He encouraged me to find my career path, and to pursue further education. He was a good man. My heartfelt condolences to you all.

Gwen and I were saddened to learn of Linc’s recent passing. Our sincere condolences & prayers go out to Karen, their girls & other family during this grieving period. The MacLeod’s owned a home right beside my parents in Greenwood and we came to know Linc on a casual basis during summers we would be home on holidays. We knew him as a gentle, very friendly person, always pleasant to be around. So sorry for your loss. Kindest regards - Don & Gwen Dempster Selkirk, MB
