Obituary of Jeanetta Cameron

Cameron, Jeanetta It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jeanetta Cameron of Riverton, on January 19, 2020 at the Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow, NS. Jeanetta held various administrative positions during her working years after raising her children. During her retirement, Jeanetta dedicated her time to her home and family. She was extremely proud of her grandsons and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed being outdoors, walking in the woods and caring for animals and outdoor birds especially hummingbirds. She was truly blessed with a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. Jeanetta and her husband Wayne have provided a loving home for many homeless and feral cats over the years. Jeannetta is survived by her immediate family, Husband Wayne Cameron, Daughter Christa Cameron and partner Adele Hart, Son Derek Cameron, Grandsons Jayden and Evan Cameron. Sisters Kathy Nickerson, Karen (Derek) Cullen and Lorraine Ross. Jeanetta is also survived by Nieces: Krystal Nickerson, Latasha Ross and Haelee Cullen Nephews: Taylor MacLean, Matthew Pye and Jessy Lee Ross Deyoung. Jeanetta was predeceased by her Father, Lee Nickerson and Mother, Evelyn Nickerson. No flowers upon request of the family. Donations in Jeanetta’s memory may be made to the Pictou County SPCA.
