She is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews and cousins. Sheila was an only child with many cousins on her side of the family. She enjoyed a special relationship with cousins Norma Higgins (Cantley), Pat Holley (Cantley) and Evelyn Delaney (Tucker). In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by in-laws Fred Sr. and Katherine (Skoke) Vienneau. Sheila married the love of her life and in her early years was a devoted stay at home mother. She also cared for many nieces, nephews and provided child care before beginning a career as a telephone operator, an administrative assistant at Hawker Siddeley and also a medical secretary. Her home was her passion and her laughter was her medicine. She gave love generously and whole heartedly and all those who knew her benefited greatly. She enjoyed many hobbies and sewed beautiful prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses and christening outfits through the years. Sheila and Fred spent many hours in retirement playing golf, travelling and going for drives. As we often said, “Anybody who ever met Sheila, loved Sheila”. She loved the outdoors and her dogs and was kind and generous in every way. She enjoyed baking and made the best cinnamon buns, homemade bread and pies. With her children and grandchildren, playing and having fun took priority. She loved playing checkers and winning was important! She never complained and was graceful and appreciative in every way. Even with her illness, her spirit never darkened and she continued to nurture new friendships and spread her loving joy. She will never be forgotten and remembered with great love. A special thank you to all staff at the Oddfellows nursing home and acknowledgment of their endless deeds and devotion to mom/Sheila.
