Uncle Scott, my heart bleeds for you with the loss of your dad. It's not fair that the world has taken a beautiful soul from a beautiful soul. Your dad treated myself and my girls like we were part of your family from the first day we met him. He was a kind and caring man, always ready to help anyone who needed it and loved to put a smile on your face. The first bass I catch this season will be in honor of him as he loved hearing my fishing tales and was always proud of me when I caught the 'big one'.
Velma, there are not enough words in this world to express how truly saddened I am that you lost your husband. Your heart is too kind and too pure to have to suffer such a devastating loss. You truly are in my thoughts and I hope that as time passes your heart will begin to heal.

I saw Mike at a funeral here in Yarmouth not long ago and he recognized me and came up to speak. After so many years of not connecting it warmed my heart to see him!
