It was so special to spend some time again with my cousin Allan such a few short weeks ago. His face lit up with a huge smile when his sister Ruth walked into his hospital room. It was heartwarming and my privilege to see the love of his family and friends he had not only in Alberta but in Nova Scotia too. I will always cherish my first trip to the Maritimes with my granddaughter Jocelynne touring around with Allan and Kitty. Allan will always be lovingly remembered in my heart. I will always remember Al as a kind loving man and I would like to say that it has been an honour , privilege and blessing to of had Al as my children’s grandfather all these past years .
