Pérusse, André of Stellarton, passed away on July 21, 2019, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in 1940 in Montréal, PQ, to the late Émile and Jeanette (Bisson) Pérusse, he is survived by his wife, Levina (Vinie) (nee Campbell), daughter, Jacqueline (Stellarton), son André (Catherine) (Bedford), brothers Jean-Paul and Jean-Pierre, both of Québec. He was pre-deceased by a younger brother, Normand and father and mother-in-law, Jean and John R. (Red) Campbell. He was retired from Sobeys Inc. after more than 32 years of service. André loved flying and was a licensed commercial pilot. He had a life-long love of classical and operatic music, as well as being a tenor singer of some note himself. Visitation will be at the HC MacQuarrie funeral home in Stellarton on Thursday, July 25, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church on Friday, July 26, at 11: a.m. Cremation has already taken place. Interment will be at Our Lady of Lourdes cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to a charity of choice.
