Obituary of Franklin Alexander Campbell

Franklin A. Campbell  age 96 of New Glasgow passed away on July1,2019 in the Aberdeen Hospital ,New Glasgow.

Born in Moose River ,Pictou County ,he was  a son of the late Roderick and Elizabeth (Craigie) Campbell.

Franklin was a resident of Toronto Ont.  for some 42 years  where he was  employed  as a truck driver  with the City of Toronto having moved back  to New Glasgow in 1990 . He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church , New Glasgow. Franklin was also a member of the Stellarton Male Choir.

Surviving are  his sister Emma Campbell of New Glasgow  and  several nieces and nephews .

He was predeceased by  a sister Christena DeYoung  and a brother John Campbell.

His remains will rest in the H.W.Angus Funeral Home for visitation  from 2-4 &7-9  on Friday .Funeral service  will be held on Saturday at 2 P.M. from the First Presbyterian Church ,New Glasgow . Burial will take place in the Brookside Cemetery. Donations in memory of Franklin may be made to the First Presbyterian Church ,New Glasgow or to a charity of one’s choice. angusfuneral@ns.sympatico.ca
