Obituary of Mervin Cameron

Cameron, Mervin Howard, 70 of High Street Estates, New Glasgow formerly of Moose River passed away June 26, 2019 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Clyde and Anna(Chisholm)Cameron.

He was a resident of new Glasgow for the past 20 years having previously resided in Moose River.

He worked as a Welder and Heavy Equipment Operator during his working years.

He is survived by his wife the former Gladys (MacDonald), New Glasgow; a daughter Wanda Thomas, sons: Shawn(Charlene), Westville; Steven, New Glasgow; 5 granddaughters, 1 grandson, 3 great-grandsons, a bother Wayne(Jeanette), Riverton; sisters: Kay MacInnis, Moose River; Debbie(Alan)Miller, Alberta; a brother-in-law Frank Norman, NL; a sister-in-law Donna Cameron, Mount William.

He was predeceased by a brother Brent, a sister Shirley Norman, a brother-in-law Ronnie MacInnis, a son-in-law Ian Thomas and a nephew Danny MacInnis.

Cremation has taken place.  There will be no services by request.

Donations in memory of Mervin may be made to the Nova Scotia SPCA, the ALS Society of Nova Scotia or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
