Weigel, Ida Mildred - 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at High Crest Place, New Glasgow, N.S.
Born on April 26, 1929 in Point Edward, Cape Breton, she was the daughter of Sidney and Ethel (Rudderham) Watson, predeceased by her husband of 56 years, our Dad, Herman in 2007.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda (Rex) Watson, and Lorraine (Terry) George, two grandsons Micah (Erica) Watson, and Jesse George. She has two surviving sisters, Erma Grant, Dominion, and Marjorie MacInnis, Point Edward, and nieces and nephews. Mom loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
She was a member of the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, which she loyally attended. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff, residents, and volunteers at High Crest Place for their friendships and genuine care of Mom, which made it a real home for her.
There will be a service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on the Old Truro Road, Westville, at 3:30 pm Sunday June 9, 2019.
