Obituary of Arthur Warren Mason

Mason, Arthur 86, of Linacy formerly Trenton, NS passed away with his family by his side at the Aberdeen Hospital, May 30, 2019. Born June 10,1932 he was a son of the late Henry and Nellie (Baker )Mason of Trenton, NS. Art retired from Eastern Wood and Halliday’s and continued his craft working with his Air Compressor Maintenance in his shop in Linacy along side his fur companion, Papas boy ... Charlie. Art lived a simple life, he worked hard, loved a jig, had some lifelong friends and a strong woman by his side. He was known for his witty comebacks and sense of humour. He enjoyed cottage life in Larry’s River and many years travelling the roads on his Gold Wing. He is survived by the love of his life Susan Burton, daughter Terry (Mason) and Charles Stewart, Trenton; a son Paul (Marjorie), New Glasgow; stepchildren Corinne, Mike and Michelle (Burton )many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews . He was predeceased by his youngest daughter Lynnette, a sister Terry and sister Helen Grant . There will be a celebration of life Tuesday June 4, from 6-8pm at the H. W.
