Brennan Mitchell Wyatt – Obituary – Feb 22, 2019
Brennan Mitchell Wyatt, 27, passed away in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Friday, February 22, 2019, after a long and courageous struggle with depression. We ask that you open your hearts and offer compassion without judgement.
He was born on April 10, 1991 in Toronto, Ontario but raised and attended school in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.
Brennan was the beloved son of, and survived by, Jim and Heather Wyatt and younger brother Jamieson (Jamie) Wyatt of New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Nephew of Charlene Brennan (Bob), Joan Brennan, Bruce Brennan (Gina), Dan Brennan (Heather), Keri Brennan (Ty), Betty Crosmas (Bob) and Joe Wyatt (Liz). Predeceased by his grandparents Clare and Philip Brennan, and June and John Wyatt. He will be fondly remembered by his many cousins and friends.
Brennan attended CATA Design School in Sydney, Australia obtaining a diploma in Graphic Design and the NSCC Dartmouth, Nova Scotia obtaining a diploma in Graphic Design. He was very artistic, brilliant and caring to many causes. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed. Jim, Heather, and Jamie loved him deeply and he will always be in their hearts. Hug your children and tell them how much you love them and please be kind and compassionate to one another.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place Friday, March 1, 2019 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in H.W Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow256 King St, New Glasgow NS. Funeral Service will take place in H. W Angus Funeral Home Saturday, March 2, 2019 2:00 pm. Reception to follow at the Bluenose Curling Club 234 Park St, New Glasgow NS.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Brennan’s name to purchase Buddy Benches through the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. The buddy bench is a simple idea to eliminate loneliness and foster friendship on the playgrounds along with spreading the message of inclusion and kindness!
