Doris May Malcolm - age 86, of Glen Haven Manor formerly of Autumn Crest Seniors and Pictou Landing passed away on December 15, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton she was a daughter of the late James A. and Charlotte "Lottie" (Reynolds) Stewart. Doris was a former resident of Pictou Landing before moving to Autumn Crest Seniors. She was a member of our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton. Doris worked with F.O. MacLeod tinting paintings and later went on to work at Arrow Printing, the Evening News and Zellers. She was a member of the Women Alike Breast Cancer Survivors and the Zellers Retirees Club. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Doris will be sadly missed by her girls Margie, Cindy, Carol and Ginny. She is survived by sisters-in-law Doris Freeman and Patsy Shanahan, brother-in-law Bill Malcolm, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Doug, sister Peg Munro, brothers John, Charles, Alex and Harry. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of the Funeral Liturgy at 1 pm on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to Women Alike Breast Cancer Survivors or the S.P.C.A. www.angusfuneralhomes.com
