Mora Jane (Marshall) MacNeil passed away November 22, 2018 at the age of 70.
Survived and sadly missed by her husband of 21 years, Robert MacNeil, step-children Michael, his son Kyle Victoria, BC; John (Rhonda), their son Lucas, Lower Sackville; Angela (Patrick) Nolan their daughters Amelia, Alyssa; Ottawa; sister Elaine Bonin, New Minas; brothers Robert (Pat) Marshall , Thorburn; Fred (Mary) Marshall, Toronto; John Marshall, New Glasgow; Norman Marshall, New Glasgow; sister-in-law Margaret Ann (Joe) Van De Wiel, Antigonish; Jean (Joseph) Martell, Trenton; Betty MacNeil, Elmsdale; brother-in-law Fraser (Lee) MacNeil, Cornwall, ON.
She was predeceased by her parents Alex and Phyllis Marshall, Thorburn, brother-in-law Joseph Bonin.
She also leaves behind two best friends Carolyn Bygrave and Linda Forbes, New Glasgow.
Mora worked at Michelin for 30 years. Her hobbies over the years were reading, baking, travelling, taking yoga and exercise classes, knitting, searching for sea glass then giving it all away. Many awards were won by Bob and Mora in Eastern Canada and Eastern U.S.A. for their wood carving and painting of duck decoys
She will be remembered as being a very kind and thoughtful person who was always thinking of and helping others.
Following Mora’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
