Obituary of Phyllis Ann Brooks

Phyllis Ann Brooks - born Feb. 9, 1937 in New Glasgow, NS. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Stirling and Annie (Murray) Brooks Brown. Phyllis grew up in Trenton, NS, in her late teens she moved to Dartmouth, NS where she resided until she moved to Valley View Villa in 2010. Phyllis enjoyed the company of her family, loved a good game of cards and enjoyed working on her puzzles. Besides being predeceased by her parents, she was predeceased by her step-father Frederick Brown and her brother-in-law Frank Cullen. She is survived by her sisters Doris Cullen, Ginger (Fraser) MacLean, Twila (Stewart) Dore, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her special friend Dee LeBlanc. There will be no visitation by request. Burial will take place in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date. Thanks to the staff at Valley View Villa for taking such wonderful care of our loved one. Donations in her memory may be made to the Epilepsy Society. Arrangements are under the direction of H.W.
