Obituary of Paul Diamond

The Lord calls us home whether we are ready to go or not. Abercrombie: Paul Bradley Diamond age 56 passed away peacefully on Saturday October 6th, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital ,New Glasgow with his loving wife lying by his side letting him know that he was loved to the very end. Born in New Glasgow he was a son of Jacqueline "Nan" (Pitts) Diamond and the late John Blair Diamond Paul did many different jobs and met numerous lifelong friends. He worked in woods , Rowan offshore and later went on the work at Linacy Greens where he found a true passion of golfing. He loved to hunt and fish, loved to watch hockey "Go Bruins". Paul also loved his motorcycles… the faster the better he would say! He is survived by his wife of 30 years Jocelyn (MacKenzie) . The greatest joys of his life his Son: Coby (Marla) at home Daughter: Janessa at home His mother Jacqueline "Nan" (Pitts) Diamond Sister Karen Diamond of New Glasgow. He was predeceased by a brother John Kevin Diamond Paul never wanted people to say "how good he looks" he wanted to arrive at the pearly gates with one last skid in sideways saying "what a ride"! Cremation has taken place . The family will receive visitors from 7-9 P.M. Wednesday and 2-4 P.M. on Thursday in the H.W.Angus Funeral Home from where a memorial service will be held at 4 P.M. Thursday from the funeral home chapel with Debbie Stewart officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Donations may be made in Paul’s memory to the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital.
