Obituary of Agnes Ryan

Margaret "Agnes" Ryan, age 91, of Munro Ave., New Glasgow passed away on Sept. 13, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Thorburn June 4, 1927 she was a daughter of the late William "Billy" and Catherine Anne (MacArthur) Ryan.
Agnes was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton. She had worked at Hawker Siddeley, Trenton for some 30 years. Agnes was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her cousins Ann White, Lexie Grant, Cathy Dobson, Betty Jones, Joan Dyer, Ellen Peters, John MacInnis, Winnie MacInnis, Tom Ryan, Michael MacDonald, Damien MacDonald and Greg MacDonald.
She was predeceased by her sister Ann Marie Anderson and brother-in-law Joseph "Bud" Anderson.
Visitation will be from 7-9 pm on Sunday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Monday from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with father Barrett Clare-Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Crohn’s and Colitis Society.
