Michael Francis Deal, Eden Lake - Born at St. Martha’s Hospital in Antigonish on July 29th, 1977., son of Mary Sampson, Bedford, NS and Wesley Deal, Eden Lake, NS.

He is survived by his, parents, sister Margaret (Brad Blois), nephew Jake, Hardwoodlands; special aunt and uncle Joyce and Allen White, many other aunts, uncles and cousins and two fellow woodsmen Brian and Brian.

Michael was an avid sports fan and played baseball hockey and golf as a youth, later he found his passion of fly fishing. Michael fished many rivers and lakes in Nova Scotia but was happiest on the Margaree and Beaver Meadow; last fish raised and landed in Pictou County at Long Lake, June 6th, 2018; What A Smile!

Michael passed on June 17th, 2018 after a long struggle due to complications of a lung disease.

A celebration of Michael's life will be held at a later date.

We the family want to thank the many caregivers who helped Michael over this long journey. A special thank-you to the wonderful people at the Aberdeen I.C.U. and the people of Eden Lake for their support and kindness.
