Clarence Arthur Best "Bugs"
Stellarton - Clarence "Bugs" Best - 58, from 147 Hudson Street - passed away Sunday, June 3rd 2018 at the Aberdeen Hospital with his loving family at his side. Born in New Glasgow on Sept. 9th, 1959 he was son of Ora (MacKay) Best and the late Clarence Best. Clarie will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 38 years Margie (Foote) Best, sons Clarie "Archie" (Monica) New Glasgow. Vernon (Heather) Westville and Travis at home. Daughter Stephanie (Alan), Abercrombie. 5 adorable grandchildren Carson Scholes, Rhiley Best, Oakland Best and Keigan and Dalton McFadden who were his whole life. Clarie also leaves behind sister's Jenny and Ann and brothers Francis, David, Robert. And numerous cousin’s nieces and nephews. When Clarie wasn't working he enjoyed playing horse shoes bowling & dreaming of the Toronto Maple Leafs to win the cup. He was a hero to so many people. He was predeceased by his father Clarence Best and brother George Best & father-in-law Lloyd. Clarie is resting at H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel in Stellarton with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4pm & 7-9 pm to be followed by his funeral service Thursday at 2 PM at H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel with Major Wayne Pike officiating. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Unit or the charity of your choice.
