May 30, 2018. Langille, Linda Rose (Huey)- It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Linda Langille, 70 of Sunny Brae on Monday May 28, 2018 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Linda was born in Halifax on June 10, 1947, a daughter of the late Melburn(Mickey Sr.) and Marian Huey of Stewiacke. Linda lived in Milton, Queens County and Stewiacke until she married Bryan Langille, moving to New Glasgow where they raised their 3 sons; Nelson(Anne)Stewiacke; Alton(deceased) and Malcolm(Lesley), Ottawa. Linda loved to spend time with her little shadow, Nicholas Langille, Lilly and Liam Langille at the cottage every summer. She was a member of the Truro and area Bluegrass Society, the Rebekah Lodge #108 IOOF of Sunny Brae. She enjoyed playing Bluegrass, Oldtime and Country music at various seniors homes and festivals in the area. She worked at the Aberdeen Hospital for 25 years from where she retired. She is survived by her husband Bryan, Sunny Brae; sons Nelson(Anne), Stewiacke; Malcolm(Lesley)Ottawa; grandchildren; Nicholas Langille, Lilly and Liam Langille, sisters; Silvia MacDougall, Stewiacke; Leona McNutt, Truro; Patricia (Jim) Kelly , Truro; brothers: Billy(Susan)Huey, Truro; Milburn Jr.(Micky)Oxford; Larry Huey, Sydney; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Alton, brothers-in-law Allan McNutt and Arthur MacDougall. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors from 3-5pm Saturday at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Burial will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke at a later date. Donations may be made in memory of Linda to the Shriners.
