Cornett, Robert "Peter", 69 of Trenton passed away May 9, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Frank and Lena(Anderson)Cornett.
Peter was a resident of Trenton for many years. He was employed as a brick layer for several years having worked for Joe Stewart and Jamie Stewart Contractors.
He is survived by his wife the former Judy(Livingstone), Trenton; a son Robert, Trenton; a daughter Jean Champion, grandchildren Synthia and Erica, brothers: Lloyd Cornett, Leonard Cornett, John Cornett, sisters: Georgina Silver, Beatrice Cornett and Irma Slager, many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers: Vernon Anderson, Ronald Cornett, Peter Cornett, Frank Cornett, Bruce Cornett, Dorman Cornett, half brothers: Arthur Cornett and John Cornett, sisters: Sylvia Silver, Shirley Cornett.
Cremation has taken place.
The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9pm Monday at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
Donations in memory of Peter may be made to the Nova Scotia Lung Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
