Jennifer Chantal Springer age 42 of New Glasgow passed away on Saturday April 28th, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in England she was a daughter of Betty Springer and the late Clinton Gordon. Jennifer lived in England before moving to Ontario in 2014 and has been a resident of New Glasgow for the past 18 months. Jennifer was an X-Ray Technologist at the Aberdeen Hospital. She attended the Air Training Corps, attaining her Clerical Certificate and Radiological Technology Certificate. She won all three levels of the Duke of Edinburgh awards. She was a member of the Anglican Church and was very devote in her faith. Jennifer was an avid reader, loved to play the saxophone, Jennifer also made jewellery, clothing, leatherwork and enjoyed renovating her home. Surviving are her mother Betty Springer of England and a number of aunts and uncles. Her best friend and travel companion Janine Pierson of England. Jennifer will be missed by her work family at the Aberdeen Hospital who said "everyday you worked with Jennie was a good day". Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 7 P.M. from the H.W.Angus Funeral Home Chapel .Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery. Donations in memory of Jennifer may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Foundation. Thank You to the staff of ER, 1st floor and Palliative Care. Special thanks to Dr. Straub, Dr. Kwasnik, Dr. G. MacLean and the X-Ray Dept staff who stepped in together as family for their exceptional care and compassion given to Jennifer during her brief illness.
