Helen Winnifred Robertson age 90 of the Glen Haven Manor ,New Glasgow and formerly of Belmont Ave. Stellarton passed away on Thursday April 26th, 2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital ,New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late William and Georgie(Weldon) MacCallum. Helen was a resident of Stellarton since 1954 and was a former employee of MT&T in New Glasgow. She was a member of Sharon St. John United Church. Helen was an avid quilter and enjoyed a good game of crib and auction 45’s. Surviving are sons W. Stewart (Shirley) Robertson of Pomquet George A. Robertson 3 grandchildren: Laura, Greg and Jeff 6 great grandchildren: Elijah , Noah, Oliver, Charlotte, Violet and Saoirse, special friends Harvey and Sheila Stiles and their daughters Rebecca, Lauren and Morgann Stiles a number of nieces and nephews Helen was predeceased by her husband Willis, brother George and a brother in infancy, sisters Joyce Brown, Jean Holmes and Nellie Gregory. Their will be no visitation or funeral by request. A family service will be held at a later date. Burial will take place in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Helen may be made to the I.W.K Hospital, Ronald McDonald House or to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the H.C.
