Thorburn ; Elsie Ivy ( Jones) Miner age 79 of MacDonald Road ,Thorburn passed away on Saturday January 6th ,2018 in the Aberdeen Hospital ,New Glasgow.
Born in Ottawa she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Jones.
She is survived by her children ; Daniel of Truro ,Donna (Paul) MacIntyre of New Glasgow ,Edward Michael of Saltsprings, Joanne Vacheresse of Thorburn ,Gordon (Lorraine) of Ottawa ,Debbie (Sheldon) Hendsbee of Windsor ,Ont.
14 grandchildren , seven great grandchildren, chosen daughter Cindy MacKenzie of Dartmouth , special family friends Everette DeCoste and the late Marilyn DeCoste of Thorburn; chosen brother and sister Frank and Gayle both of Johnstown ,Ont.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Edward "Eddy "Miner and siblings
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Elsie’s wishes there will no visitation or services.
