Carol A. Board age 74 of Valley View Villa, Riverton formerly of Brother St., New Glasgow passed away on December 12, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Catherine (Webber) MacDonald.
Carol started her working career by serving in the Airforce, she later went on to work at Hawker Siddley in Trenton and then to Kimberly Clark from where she retired. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church (the Kirk) in New Glasgow. Carol loved to travel and enjoyed the time spent travelling on her motorcycle.
She is survived by her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Morton, Riverton; brother William "Bill" (Margie) MacDonald, Sutherland’s River; 8 nieces, 1 nephew. She is also survived locally by a step-son Nigel (Donna) Board, Little Harbour; and her special companion Buster.
Her remains will rest from 1 -3 pm on Friday, December 15 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, December 15 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joon Ki Kim officiating. Cremation will follow.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Diabetes Association.
