We Remember You You were a pillar of strength Our supporter and our rock So strong and independent But never lived by a clock. You worked at your own pace always willing to lend a helping hand. The one who always loved us Who taught us your wisdom until we’d understand . You were the jack of all trades Although carpentry was your passion There was nothing you wouldn’t try To be like you, we could only imagine. The memories we created together Are ones forever ingrained in our minds If only we could hear your gruff voice Calling "babe" just one more time. It broke our hearts to lose you So soon that our hearts still sting But even in your passing You are forever the wind beneath our wings We love you always!
