dOctober 3, 2017. Jobe, Francis "Glenn", 66 of Maclellan’s Mountain, Pictou County passed away October 2, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Neils Harbour, Cape Breton he was a son of the late Robert Joseph and Annie (MacEvoy)Jobe. Glenn was a resident of MacLellan’s Mountain for the past 40 years. During his working years he was employed with the former Hawker Siddeley Railcar Plant in Trenton. After leaving there he went on own and operated his firewood business for a number of years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing and playing his guitar in his spare time. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and his trips to Cape Breton. He is survived by his wife Latisha, Westville; a daughter Jennifer Jobe(Raymond Hedd), Durham; grandchildren: Kyleigh Hedd and Breagh Hedd, brothers: Robert(Joyce), Truro; Stewart(Geraldine), Thompson, Manitoba; Alvin(June), Westville; Cedric, London, Ontario; sisters: Johnenna, Halifax; Muriel, Red Deer; Sharmane(Tony), Red Deer; Ruby(David),Dingwall, Cape Breton; Mandy, Halifax and Raylene, Stellarton; many nieces and nephews, special friend Cheryl Jenkins, Stellarton. He was predeceased by a nephew Swain Jobe, his fur friend, Punky. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Glenn’s life will be held from 7-9pm Tuesday October 10, 2017 at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Donations in memory of Glenn may be made to the Pictou County SPCA www.angusfuneralhomes.com
