MacKay, Wilbert Arthur, 84 of the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow passed away September 23, 2017 at the manor.
Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Chalmers and Della(Corbett)MacKay.
Wilbert was a resident of the manor for the last 3 years.
He is survived by sons: Earl, Alberta Nelson, Alberta; Arthur(Sharon), Mount William; a daughter Sharon(Paul)Melanson, Mount William; 5 grandchildren; a sister Joyce Pederson, Saltsprings; a brother Douglas Earl MacKay, New Glasgow.
He was predeceased by his wife the former Helen(Turner), a sister Marion Dickie, a sister-in-law June MacKay.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel, New Glasgow with Debbie Stewart presiding. Burial of ashes will take place in the Riverton Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Wilbert may be made to Prostate Cancer Canada.
