McGirr, Kathleen Isabel, 95 of the Valley View Villa, Riverton formerly of 39 Fairview Avenue., New Glasgow passed away peacefully on August 22, 2017 at the Villa.
Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late James and Jessie(Maclean)McGirr.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow.
She is survived by a niece Carmen Clark, grand nieces Jennifer, Kathleen(Mike), grand-nephew Christopher and a great- grand niece Maggie.
She was predeceased by sisters; Gertrude(Mrs. Marshall Miller), Margaret(Mrs. Bill McArthur), Alice(Mrs. Gerald Ambrose) , and a brother James Jr.
Cremation has taken place. Private services will be held at a later date.
Burial will take place in Holy Cross cemetery.
Special thanks to the staff of the Valley View Villa for the wonderful care she received.
