Obituary of Carlotta MacIntosh

Carlotta "Lottie" MacIntosh(née Turnbull) of Stellarton, passed away at home surrounded by her loving children, Wednesday August 2nd, 2017,at the age of 74.
Born in Stellarton, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Gerald "Gyp" and Eva "Ivy" (Rankin) Turnbull.
Lottie is survived by her four children, Joseph MacIntosh, Stellarton, Johnny MacLean, Stellarton, David MacIntosh (Allison Jenkins), Stellarton and Michelle MacIntosh (Derrick MacPherson), Stellarton, her many grandchildren, Danica and Ashton MacIntosh (Michelle), Jared and Kelsie MacLean, (Johnny), Rachel Paschel (David).
She is also survived by her great grandson Carson HemphilI (Danica), sisters Catherine (Kay) MacKarther, Leanore (Lea) Russell, and brother Gerald Turnbull and her best friend of 50 years, Bonnie Henderson.
"Lottie" was a very strong, hardworking, independent woman, an accomplished seamstress, a supervisor at ware well garments and also owned and operated her own business. In her later years she provided home care for people in need. She was a very selfless loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was extremely devoted to her family. She had a passion for helping people in need and was everyone's shoulder to cry on. She will be missed tremendously by everyone who knew and loved her.
A funeral mass is scheduled for Monday August 7th,11:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in New Glasgow, with a reception to follow at the parish hall. Fr. Barrett Clare-Johnson and Fr. Peter MacDonald will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lottie’s life. The family would like to thank the Palliative care unit, Nurses and Caregivers of the VON for their help in making Lottie's last days comfortable.
