Helen MacKenzie Obituary

Limerock ; Helen Ann MacKenzie age 50 of Limerock ,Pictou County and formerly of Stellarton passed away on July 5th ,2017.


Born in New Glasgow she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Jessie (Baudoux) MacLeod.


During her life Helen was a friend that you could always count on. She taught sign language to various groups and enjoyed having exchange students in her home. Helen was also involved with Roots for Youth and was a member of Chicks with Sticks Pool Club. A past time which Helen enjoyed was painting.


Surviving are her son : David (Chantel) of Vancouver


A sister : Florence (Gordon) Stewart of Linacy


A brother : Fraser (Marsha) of Island East River


Several nieces and nephews


She was predeceased by her husband Timothy MacKenzie and twin sisters Frances and Freda


The family will receive visitors from 2-4 &7-9 P.M. on Friday in the H.C.MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel Stellarton.


Funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11 A.M. from the First Presbyterian Church , Stellarton with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery.
