Carroll, Theodore Robert "Ted", 81 of New Glasgow passed away May 4, 2017 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Sherbrooke he was a son of the late George and Margaret(Bray)Carroll.
Ted was a resident of New Glasgow since 1970 having previously resided in Toronto. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. During his working years, he was a self employed carpenter. He was a very proud father and grandfather, enjoying hunting and fishing in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife the former Mary (Druhan), New Glasgow; a daughter Jacqueline(Fred)Fox, New Glasgow; a son Michael(Natalie), Kings Head; 3 grandchildren: Laura Fox, Meghan Fox and Theo Carroll, sisters: Jeanette Rogers, Thorburn; Connie Salter, Stellarton; a brother: Leon(Irene), Toronto; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son Theo, a sister Betty Wadden, brothers-in-law, Frank Rogers, James Wadden, Alex Salter and Ben Druhan
Cremation has take place.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Tuesday from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Stellarton with Father Barrett Clare-Johnson celebrating. Burial of ashes will take place in the parish cemetery.
No flowers by request. Donations in memory of Ted may be made to Our lady of Lourdes Parish cemetery.
