Obituary of Francis Arthur MacIntosh

Francis Arthur MacIntosh age 75 of Spring Garden Road, Westville passed away March 19, 2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Francis and Marion (MacKenzie) MacIntosh. Francis was a resident of Spring Garden Road, Westville and had lived in New Glasgow for many years prior to that. He loved to play the harmonica, play bingo, ride his bike and loved to walk. He is survived by his children Patty (Steven) MacLeod, Gairloch; Bonnie MacIntosh (John Scott), Hopewell; Ronnie MacIntosh (Kayla Walsh), Mt. William; grandchildren Michael MacLeod (Leah Benoît), Holly (Mark) MacFarlane, Samantha (Travis) Landry, Savana MacEachern (Mark Van Veld), Cody MacIntosh, Haley MacIntosh, Brooklyn MacIntosh, and Clayton MacIntosh, 9 great-grandchildren.; brothers Sandy (Marion) MacIntosh, New Glasgow; Vernon MacIntosh, Hopewell and a sister Marilyn Cameron, New Glasgow. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Betty Ramsey. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Cremation to follow with burial in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date.
