Stellarton : J. David Bowman age 65 of Stellarton passed away on Friday ,March 3 ,2017 in the Aberdeen Hospital. Born in New Glasgow , he was the son of the late John David and Marion (MacLean) Bowman. David was a resident of Stellarton for the last 36 years. He was a retired employee of Pepsi with 35 years service and prior to that had worked at the Abercrombie Golf Club. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church. David enjoyed four wheeling , and was a fan of the Montreal Canadians , the New England Patriots and NASCAR. David is survived by his wife the former Jeanne (Wilson) A daughter Lindsey (John) of Halifax A son David at home Mother-in-law Lillian Wilson A number of brother and sister-in-laws He was predeceased by his parents , a son Craig in infancy and his stepmother Joan. His remains will rest in the H.W.Angus Funeral Home 256 King St. ,New Glasgow for visiting on Sunday March 5th from 2-4 &7-9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday ,March 6th at 2 P.M. from Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with Father Barrett- Clare Johnson presiding . Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of David may be made to the VON or the Palliative Care Society of the Aberdeen Hospital.
