Obituary of Jean Livingstone

Stellarton: Jean Isabel (Morgan)Livingstone of Stellarton passed away peacefully on January 31st ,2017 at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital , Antigonish. Born on January 15th ,1926 in New Glasgow ,she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Jessie(MacNeil) Morgan. Jean worked at Eaton’s New Glasgow where she enjoyed meeting people and kept many as her friends. Jean was a member of the Canadian National Railroad Lodge. Jean enjoyed her family , travelling and making crafts. She was pleased of the accomplishments of her nieces ,nephews, great nieces, nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Jean was a faithful member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Jean is survived by her son Allan Sister Anne Cullen Sister -in-law Marjorie Watts Brother-in-law John Anderson Jean was predeceased by her husband Alistair Seven sisters ,two brothers , one sister-in-law and five brothers-in-law The family will receive visitors from 2-4 &7-9 P.M. on Thursday in the H.C.MacQuarrie Funeral Chapel , Stellarton. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2 P.M. on Friday from Our Lady of Lourdes Church with Father Barrett- Clare Johnson presiding. A reception will follow the service in the Sister Catherine Steele Centre. Burial will take place in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Jean may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Capital Fund.
