Craig McCarron, Stellarton: Craig McCarron age 76, of Weir Ave., Stellarton passed away on November 14, 2016 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Hugh and Mary (Craig) McCarron. Craig worked for many years thoughout the county in the Tourism Industry, most recently at the Tara Motel in New Glasgow, but was best know for owning and operating the Wagon Wheel Restaurant. Craig was avid sports fan, loved to play golf, was a member of the Abercrombie Golf and Country Club, member of the YMCA, Kinsman Club, K-40. Craig had the ability to walk into a room and instantly lighten the mood with his quick wit. He was member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church and a former member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow. He is survived by his wife Neila, Stellarton; son Scott (Mary), Florida; grandsons Cole, Cade and Kye all of Florida; brothers Eric (Joan), Ontario; Mark (Sheri), Alberta and very special friend Lindsay (Sobey) McGee, New Zealand. Craig was predeceased by sisters Susan and June. The family will receive friends from 2- 4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Mass of Christian burial will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow at 11 am on Thursday, November 24, 2016 with Father Barrett Clare- Johnson officiating.
