Conway, Harry Wayne: It is with sadness we announce the passing of Harry Wayne Conway, age 71, of Plymouth Park at the Aberdeen Hospital on October 7, 2016 with family at his side. He was the son of the late William Joseph and Margaret Mae (Gordon) Conway. Harry was a hard working man throughout his life. He was employed at Hawker Siddley for more than thirty years before pursuing his own business ventures. He combined his love of nature and animals through both Conway Furs and Conway Lumber, where he retired in 2014. Harry was a member of the Nova Scotia Nuisance Wildlife Operators Association for many years and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Stellarton. As an avid outdoorsman he enjoyed fishing, hiking, hunting, trapping and long scenic drives with his wife Ann. Harry is survived by his wife of 36 years Ann Mary (Post) Conway; children Eileen (Michael) Isaacs, (AB); Vanessa (Kevin) MacLean, Thorburn; Adam Conway (SK) and Maria Conway (NB); grandchildren: Will, (Tiffany), Shelbie (Stephen), Brennan, Taylor (Charlie)and Cameron; great grandson Charlie; brother Hubert; brothers and sisters in law Ronnie (Dorothy) Post, Wilma (Alex) Fraser, Gerald (Yvonne) Post, Jo-Ann (Brian) McCullum, Riek (Robert) Matheson , Engelina (Kevin) Crouse ; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Harry is predeceased by two siblings in infancy; sister Doreen; brother Doug and sisters in law Jean Conway and Lena Conway; parents in law Adrian and Johanna Post; nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home New Glasgow on Tuesday October 12, 2016 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm from where funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 13, 2016 at 2pm with Reverend Charles MacPherson presiding. A family burial will be held at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens with a reception to follow at the Plymouth Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harry's memory to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Plymouth Fire Department or to The Cherry Brook Zoo, Saint John, NB.
