Obituary of Brian Levangie

Please share a memory of Brian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Levangie, Francis "Brian" – 48, Amherst/Trenton passed away suddenly on June 30, 2016. Brian was predeceased by his father Frank. Brian is survived by his mother, Brenda (Ervin) Levangie; sister Ann (Anie Levesque), Enfield; brother George (Korinna) , Sherwood Park, Alberta; son Louis Cameron, Sarnia Ontario. Brian is also survived by his niece and nephew, and many aunts and uncles. Brian will also be greatly missed by his many close friends and in particular George and Susan Billington and their children (Rose and Lynn Jordan, Suzie and Diane), JB Cameron and Jessica Clark, Harold Hayne, Bob Clyburn, Art Cameron, Brett Billington, Jason Billington, and Shandi and Zabrina Davis. Brian loved children and was Uncle Brian or Papa B to many. Brian was a hard worker and worked for years as a Union Millwright, most recently on the Muskrat Falls project in Newfoundland. He was much like a burnt marshmallow in that he was a little bitter and crusty on the outside but soft and sweet on the inside. Brian always had a smile and smart remark to those closest to him (that is how you knew he cared) and was one of those guys who was always there for you. Brian would give you the shirt off his back, literally and figuratively. Brian was not one for a fuss being made about him so to honour his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Donations in memory of Brian may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Fund. www.angusfuneralhomes.com
